Something about myself
I was born and brought up in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, where I learned to cook with my mother and aunts. I came to Britain as a student and have lived here now with my husband and children for many years. My recipes have been developed over many years spent cooking for and teaching people who love good food and are eager to try new things but who are not Thai.
In 2000 I completed a Higher National Diploma in Catering from Chichester College in West Sussex. When I finished my tutors asked me to come back as a teacher. Since then I have been running the College’s Adult Education programme in Thai Cookery, and now have a similar programme with Surrey Adult Learning Services in Dorking.
